I just….can’t resist cosplaying Shuu from Hatoful Boyfriend. Plus theres a shoot coming up and I don’t really really want to rush making my other cosplays…so just going to put this one together.
Started playing Hatoful Boyfriend because I heard of the Bonus mystery part… but I loved the humor and the interactions in the beginning part.
However, that bonus part… it’s well overwhelmingly dark when considering how light hearted it is…. or usually is? I enjoyed they way they humanized (for lack of a better word) their characters in the bonus part. Also, the plot’s simply beautifully played… with twist and turns played at just the right points. For being a game where the main characters are pidgeons, it was very real with horrible things happening all because of a simple wish or because words can be so very twisted. (Trying not to spoil it is hard…)
This game is wonderful to people who can get past the pidgeon thing and appreciate both the light heartedness and the darkness in it. (and I don’t just mean The Happy Couple ending.)
I must return to my people with the spoils of war, lay my bloodied sword at the feet of my great king, and celebrate my conquest of all the lands from here to distant Macedonia.
Hatoful Boyfriend (Hands down my favorite line.)
